Passionate growers, a reliable staff, a committed board and management - and not least, gigantic robots. This is how we describe ourselves at Samsø Grønt.

The company was established in 1988 and currently has 19 employees. We attach importance to a good working environment, an informal tone, and mutual flexibility. Our investment in high-tech robots also means that employees do not need to do heavy lifting.

Samsø Grønt is owned by a number of growers in Samsø of which five farmers are members of the board. The board of directors and the management together make guidelines for our visions and for the way they are realized. Once a year the annual general meeting is held, and here, among other things, accounts are presented.

Every year in August staff, board, management, and collaborators take a trip to Zealand, where we go to Cirkusrevyen (a revue), play a ball game, and eat good food on ”Bakken” (an amusement park).

We collaborate with Samsø Agricultural Association and the Samsø Potato Grower Association on development of new potato varieties. These varieties are jointly tested on taste and yield, before they are delivered to the consumers.

The main customers of our fresh vegetables are supermarkets, Grønttorvet (vegetable market), restaurants and specialty shops. If you want to buy fresh produce from Samsø Grønt, just look for our logo.
